Nursery & Tots

Infants – Age 2

Infants and toddlers are welcomed into a safe and caring nursery environment designed just for them. With carefully-screened volunteers, rooms filled with fun toys, and songs and stories about Jesus, even our youngest children are introduced to God’s love. As our toddlers turn two, we gently transition them into our “TOTS” program, which in turn, helps them transition into KIDS Church.


Kids Church

Age 3 – Grade 3

We embrace each child just as they are—cognitively, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. Our KIDS Church program includes fun, movement-filled activities, interactive songs, and Bible lessons that help kids connect with God’s Story. Our caring small group leaders get to know each child individually and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Bridge 45

Grades 4-5

Students in grades 4 and 5 are at a unique crossroads—they’re equal parts goofy and great. While many are ready to move beyond elementary teachings, most aren’t prepared for the topics we explore in ECC Teen. We help our Bridge 45 kids navigate this crucial transition from child to teen with events and opportunities that encourage them to ask big questions, be themselves, and grow into a faith they can own.

Program Specifics

Registration is simple Enter through the Upper Level of the Shoreview Community Center and head toward the back wall of windows. Just to your left, you’ll see our ECC KIDS table. Friendly staff and volunteers will be there to answer your questions and guide you through the quick registration process.
Your child's safety matters Like you, we want to keep our kids safe. Every leader provides references and passes a background check. At check-in, children and parents receive matching security tags. Our team checks these tags at pick-up to ensure every child goes home with the right person.
We want all kids to stay healthy As parents, we know kids share more than toys. To help maintain a healthy environment, we ask you to keep your child home if they're showing symptoms that would typically keep them home from school.

Big Church and Special Events

Our Sunday Worship Services are a place where kids are regularly seen and heard! When Kids Church is in recess and children join the adults for worship, we regularly include songs and object lessons just for them. You’ll often find Busy Bags and Smartie Challenge clipboards to help kids of all ages stay engaged and follow along.

Beyond Sunday mornings, we involve kids in church-wide outreach, coordinate regular park playdates, and offer a variety of special events (such as our annual Fall Carnival) and family groups throughout the year.

Camp ECC

In June and July, our KIDS and BRIDGE 45 programming transforms into Camp ECC! Kids age 3 through grade 5 get to experience a taste of camp on Sunday mornings for live skits, high-energy worship songs, extra-creative crafts, and tickets to redeem at the Camp Store. It’s Camp-style fun all summer long as we dive deep into God’s Word together.

Covenant Pines Bible Camp

Covenant Pines Bible Camp has been a place where people experience Christ in an outdoor setting since 1954. The camp covers 140 acres and is nestled between two lakes near McGregor, Minnesota.
